At the same time, the Yemeni Red Crescent continues its efforts to evacuate families affected by Cyclone Tej in Al-Mahra Governorate, despite the difficult conditions characterized by heavy rains and strong winds. The Red Crescent indicated that its volunteers are working side by side with the army, security forces, and health operations to evacuate the affected families to shelter centers.
Yesterday, Monday, the Yemeni Red Crescent launched an appeal to the Presidential Council, the government, and the Arab coalition, requesting that planes be sent to rescue people stranded in the floods as a result of the effects of Hurricane Tej. He pointed out that his emergency teams and vehicles faced difficulty in reaching those affected by the hurricane in Al-Ghaydah District, specifically in Al-Ibri, Hafet Al-Sada, and Kalshat, in addition to the rest of the districts.
