Arab Weather - 36 flights were canceled and 201 others were delayed at a Japanese airport over the weekend after a pair of scissors went missing from a store near the boarding gates. According to the BBC, the incident occurred on Saturday morning at New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, leading to the suspension of security checks at the airport for about two hours.
This caused long lines, as passengers who had already passed security checks were asked to go through them again, leading to significant delays and cancellations. Authorities tried to locate the missing scissors, which were found in the same store the next day.
