Arab Weather - The National Center for Geophysics reported the possibility of aftershocks in Lebanon, stressing that there is no need to worry about them because they are usually light and may not be felt by anyone. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, some residents of Jordan, Syria and Palestine felt an earthquake.

The Seismological Observatory recorded an earthquake in northern Syria with a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale at 11:55 p.m., at a depth of 10 kilometers, and was felt by residents of Jordan. The earthquake also struck different areas in Syria with the same magnitude.

In Damascus, most residents of the Syrian governorates, especially in Homs, Hama, Damascus and its countryside, felt the earthquake. The Syrian Seismological Center also recorded a 5.5-magnitude earthquake east of Hama city at 11:56 p.m.
