Arab Weather - The Governor of Hebron, Jibreen Al-Bakri, decided today, Wednesday, to completely close the city of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, with its cities, villages and camps, completely, and to prevent movement completely for five days from Wednesday evening.
Al-Bakri said in a press statement that this decision comes according to the decision of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to declare a state of emergency in the state of Palestine, and in implementation of the instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, in the context of ensuring the health and safety of citizens, especially in light of the continued spread of the "Corona" virus emerging in Hebron. Today 199 new infections, bringing the number of injuries to more than 1500.
He added that the security services will follow up the implementation of the decision, calling on the emergency committees and local councils, the "Fatah" movement and the national action factions in each region, to assume their responsibilities in protecting our people from this epidemic.
Al-Bakri called on the children of Hebron to comply fully with the instructions issued by the competent authorities.
