Arab Weather - Greater Amman Municipality teams began inspecting and maintaining submersible water pumps in tunnels, intersections, and rapid bus stations, in addition to suction machines, to ensure their readiness, as part of preparations for the winter season.

The Secretariat explained in a statement issued on Tuesday that executive emergency plans have been prepared to secure human cadres, machinery and equipment in different areas. The plans also included providing the necessary equipment to clean flood channels and valleys and ensure the continued flow of water without any obstacles.

The Secretariat indicated that the necessary measures were taken to ensure the general safety of the personnel working within the emergency system, in addition to coordinating the pruning of trees and ensuring that they do not block the manholes for draining rainwater or the channels of torrents and valleys, including the entrances and exits of culverts and exposed canals.
