On Friday and Saturday, the Kingdom was affected by a cold air mass and humid western currents, which worked to reduce temperatures and the activity of southwestern winds and rainfall at intervals in the western sector, accompanied by the formation of fog over the heights.

20-24/December/2021 Class III depression (medium-high efficiency) associated with very cold air mass:

As of Monday, the Kingdom was affected by the first air depression of the third degree, and a first air front crossed in the late hours of Monday morning, causing a significant drop in temperatures and an increase in wind speed, whose gusts touched the 100 km/hour barrier, which worked to raise dust and dust intensely. Heavy rains and hail fell over several regions of the Kingdom, and snow fell over the mountainous heights that rise more than 1,100 meters and accumulated over the mountains of 1,300 and more in the south of the Kingdom.

The precipitation decreased in the afternoon, in preparation for the crossing of a major, highly effective air front during the evening and night hours, which worked on the prevalence of rainy weather at times in the north and center of the Kingdom, and snow showers fell over the tops of the high mountainous heights, and the highly effective air front continued until Tuesday dawn.

From the dawn of Tuesday until Friday, December 24, the Kingdom was affected by long-term humid western air currents that continued to rain in different regions of the Kingdom, and good amounts of rain fell, the highest of which was in the capital, Amman.

The Kingdom was affected in that period by the extension of the Siberian air rise, which brought stable weather, but cold during the day, and very cold at night with the occurrence of frost in several parts of the Kingdom.
