Arab Weather - The Kingdom has been experiencing very pleasant weather for several days during the night hours, tending to be cold in the late hours and during the dawn hours, as temperatures drop to below 20 degrees Celsius in large areas, especially the high mountainous heights and eastern plains. Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the Kingdom will experience a new cold night (Thursday/Friday night).
The specialized maps show that the weather will be pleasant and gradually cool in various regions of the Kingdom during the early morning hours, especially over the high mountain peaks, specifically the southern ones, in addition to the eastern plains regions, with an increase in surface humidity levels and the appearance of low clouds.
The latest outputs of numerical models indicate a decrease in minimum temperatures to range between 12-17 degrees Celsius over the high mountain peaks, especially the Sharah Mountains, while they will be the same in the rest of the regions between 18-21 degrees Celsius amid generally pleasant and refreshing weather.
Weather forecast in Jordan, Amman
The weather at that time (i.e. after midnight and morning) becomes unsuitable for outdoor sessions due to the combination of cold weather conditions and high relative humidity, as well as the occasional activity of northwesterly winds. Therefore, "Arab Weather" advises wearing a light coat to suit the relative coolness of the weather during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains.
After the completion of the weather reports from Queen Alia International Airport, a low minimum temperature of 14.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in the Queen Alia Airport area on Thursday morning 9/5/2024, which is considered a cold value. Relative coldness prevailed in the weather during the dawn and sunrise periods, and it is expected that Queen Alia Airport will record minimum temperatures of about 15 degrees Celsius on Friday morning.
God knows best.
