Jordan | The Works announces a medium emergency, coinciding with the expected weather conditions

Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced the start of work within the medium emergency plan, starting tomorrow morning, Monday, coinciding with the weather conditions expected to affect the Kingdom, according to information received from the Meteorological Department.

The Ministry confirmed, in a press statement issued by the Media and Communication Unit, its readiness to deal with the expected weather conditions and to process the observations received 24 hours a day through its 106 teams distributed in the various governorates of the Kingdom.

She added that, at the behest of the Minister of Public Works and Housing and the Minister of Transport, Maher Abu Al-Saman, a circular was issued to its directorates and offices in various parts of the Kingdom to fully prepare to face the expected weather conditions, conduct periodic inspection tours to all regions, and provide the Central Emergency Unit with periodic reports according to the rules, indicating that the directors of the directorates have been delegated And offices working in the field to submit an emergency plan according to the need and developments in the weather.

By circulating it, the Ministry stressed the need for permanent and continuous coordination with the Ministry's partners, to work on resolving and addressing all observations immediately to maintain the continuity of services provided to citizens, according to the followed government approach.

And she called on citizens to take caution and beware of the danger of low horizontal visibility due to dust raised by active winds in several regions of the Kingdom and the danger of torrential rains forming in valleys and low areas, especially in the south and east of the Kingdom.

She also called for not hesitating to report any emergency situation through direct communication with the main operations room in the ministry and the operations rooms in the governorates, or through the application of the works notification system on smart phones or through its operations rooms on the following numbers:
