Jordan | `General Security` reveals the condition of roads in Jordan during the prevailing depression

Arab Weather - The Public Security Directorate revealed on Saturday evening the condition of roads in the governorates of Jordan, coinciding with the impact of the depression and rainfall.

The Public Security Directorate also called for the need to exercise caution while driving. Due to the formation of fog and rainfall in some areas, stressing the need to stay away from torrential streams, valleys and water bodies, and not to risk crossing them with vehicles or on foot.

The Directorate stressed the necessity of safe and proper handling of heaters to prevent accidents that may result from misuse or failure to take the necessary precautions, calling for calling the unified emergency number 911 if the need arises.

The directorate showed the road conditions as of eight o’clock on Saturday evening in the governorates as follows:

Northern Region

It rains from time to time and all roads are passable, except for the Aqraba-Bani Kenana road, which is closed due to high water levels, and work is underway to open the road by the concerned authorities.

Central Region

It rains from time to time and all roads are passable

Capital Region

It rains from time to time and all roads are passable except for the Abu Sayyah Bridge, which is closed. Due to sewage maintenance work.

South Region

Dusty winds and all roads are passable

Managing external patrols

All external roads are passable, except for the entire Azraq area. Pass with caution. Due to dust stirring from time to time and visibility is clear.
