Arab Weather - The latest outputs of the numerical models operated by the Air Operations Department of the Arab Weather Company indicate the deepening impact of the heat wave on the Kingdom during Thursday and Friday, which causes a further rise in temperatures to be much higher than their rates for this time of the year.
The weather will be hot to very hot in all regions of the Kingdom, and the weather turns to become hot and stifling over some areas.
It is expected, God willing, and according to computer outputs, that temperatures will record advanced levels in the Jordan Valley and the Eastern Badia, and these are the areas most affected by the heat wave, as temperatures in those areas are expected to touch the 45 degrees Celsius barrier on Thursday and Friday.
While the temperatures in some neighborhoods and regions of the capital Amman approach the barrier of 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday, especially in the eastern regions of Amman, while temperatures are in the thirtieth levels above the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
The high temperatures coincide with an increase in the surface humidity levels, especially in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea regions. The high humidity increases the feeling of heat and a feeling of malaise over all regions of the Kingdom.
It is expected, God willing, that the humidity will increase in the middle and high layers of the atmosphere in the southern Badia regions during the afternoon and evening hours of Thursday, so that some thunder clouds are likely to form in parts of the southern Badia regions, which may cause local showers of rain in limited parts, and include opportunities to form Thunder clouds parts of Wadi Rum.
The flow of moisture increases in the middle and high layers of the atmosphere during the night hours of Thursday/Friday and on Friday, so that clouds spread at medium and high altitudes, interspersed with some thunder clouds, so that local thunderstorms of rain are likely to fall on random areas of the Kingdom, especially in the Badia regions. Opportunities include, including Wadi Rum, and thunder clouds, if they form actively, are accompanied by the speed of surface winds that raise dust and dust.
Night temperatures rise additionally during the night hours of Thursday/Friday and Friday/Saturday night, and the weather is generally warm, relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with a rise in humidity, which exacerbates the feeling of heat.
