Jordan | Initial registration for those wishing to perform Hajj begins next Tuesday

Arab Weather - Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, announced on Sunday the start date for initial registration for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the Hajj season 1946 AH 2025 AD for Jordanian citizens and residents of the Gaza Strip residing in the Kingdom.

Registration will be done through the electronic Hajj portal https://hajj.gov.jo, starting from 10:00 AM on Tuesday 11/26/2024 until 9:00 PM on Monday 12/16/2024.

Al-Khalayleh called on those wishing to register, who meet the conditions, to pay an amount of 200 dinars to the original registrant only, which will be refunded after the registration ends at a time specified by the Hajj and Umrah Department, and the companions of the original registrant are exempt from payment, noting that payment is available through e-Fawateercom, or by visiting one of the branches of the Jordan Islamic Bank or one of the branches of Safwa Islamic Bank.

To register for this year’s Hajj season, the original registrant must be born on or after 12/31/1975, have not previously performed Hajj, and have received two doses of the approved coronavirus vaccine.
