Weather of Arabia - The month of July 2024 is drawing to a close, without any heat waves affecting the Kingdom and the Levant region in general, in contrast to last June, in which the Kingdom was affected by two heat waves in which high and record temperatures were recorded whether in the Kingdom or in the Levant region in general. Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that in the last days of July, it is expected, according to current monitoring station data, that the month will end with temperatures slightly above average, as the average maximum temperature in the capital, Amman, is 32-33 degrees Celsius. While current data indicate that the expected average temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius, according to data from the Marka Airport station.

In terms of temperatures, the capital, Amman, recorded the highest temperature this month of July, reaching 36.6 degrees Celsius on 7/10/2024, according to Marka Airport station data, while the number of days in which temperatures exceeded their general annual averages reached 15 days.

Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that initial indicators do not suggest that the Kingdom will be affected by heat waves in the near and medium term, as due to the surrounding weather systems in the region, the heat waves are moving away from the Kingdom and their impact is limited to the Arabian Peninsula, and this system is expected to continue. During the first week of August, the weather is expected to remain relatively hot during the day and moderate at night.
