Jordan - Weather Update | Heavy dust storm hits East Amman coinciding with Friday prayer

Arab Weather - The eastern part of the capital, Amman, is currently exposed to a dense dust wave that affects horizontal visibility, as visibility drops to 500 meters in some areas. This dusty weather is expected to continue until the evening hours, which requires attention, especially for drivers on external roads.

This wave is attributed to the activity of the southeasterly winds that enhance the movement of dust towards the eastern areas of the capital, and may extend to additional areas of Amman. It is advised not to practice outdoor activities and to exercise caution, especially for people suffering from respiratory problems.

As the night hours begin, the weather is expected to gradually improve and dust levels will decrease, gradually improving visibility.
