Arab Weather - The Kingdom has been experiencing extremely cold weather during the night hours for several days, with temperatures dropping to below 6 degrees Celsius across large areas, particularly in the high mountains and eastern plains. Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that nighttime temperatures will continue to rise significantly compared to previous nights throughout the rest of the week, God willing.
Specialized maps indicate that nighttime temperatures will rise over the coming days, with the weather becoming pleasant in the evening and early night hours and during the iftar meal. However, it will gradually cool down across the Kingdom during the late night and dawn hours, including during suhoor (pre-dawn meal) times, especially over the high mountain peaks, particularly the southern ones, as well as the eastern plains.
The Arab Weather app indicates that minimum temperatures will rise to between 14 and 17 degrees Celsius across the Kingdom, including the capital, Amman, over the weekend. Temperatures will be much warmer in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, reaching the mid-twenties. The weather will be warmer and suitable for all outdoor activities and gatherings in these areas.
The weather at that time (i.e., after midnight and early morning) becomes unsuitable for outdoor seating due to the cooler conditions. Therefore, "Arab Weather" recommends wearing a light coat to accommodate the relatively cool conditions during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountains and eastern plains.
Following the completion of the weather reports from Queen Alia International Airport, a minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius was recorded in the Queen Alia Airport area on Monday morning, March 24, 2025, which is considered an extremely cold value. A clear chill prevailed over the weather during the dawn and sunrise periods.
And God knows best.
