Jordan | Warning of recurring fog formation and low horizontal visibility during the upcoming instability

Arab Weather - The weather maps in the Arab Weather Center indicate a significant increase in humidity, so that humidity levels exceed the 90% barrier in the coming nights, when the Kingdom was affected by the state of atmospheric instability, so that fog is expected to form over many parts of the Kingdom, especially the eastern plains and mountainous highlands during Late night hours, dawn and early morning, and it is not excluded that the fog will be thick at times.

There are also chances of fog formation sometimes during daylight hours as a result of the low clouds crossing and touching the surface of the earth, especially over the high mountainous heights, especially on Saturday.

Fog may cover parts of the capital, Amman, and the desert road

The chances of fog formation may include parts of Oman, the desert road, and many of the effective roads that link the governorates of the Kingdom to each other. It is expected that the fog will be dense in those areas, causing a decrease in the horizontal visibility to less than 1 km over some areas and perhaps its lack at times.

Based on the foregoing, drivers are advised to take the necessary precautions while driving on roads that witness the formation of fog.
