Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest readings from the so-called computer simulation of temperature forecasts indicate that the Kingdom will continue to be affected tonight by the extension of the so-called Siberian high, where very cold weather will prevail with the possibility of frost forming in some areas.
In detail, God willing, during the hours of tonight, cold to very cold weather is expected to prevail in various regions of the Kingdom, as the minimum temperature drops to around zero degrees Celsius, especially near the ground surface in large areas of the eastern plains, the Badia regions and the peaks of the Shara Mountains, while it reaches around 4 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman. The winds will be calm, and the very cold weather expected tonight and tomorrow morning requires wearing warmer clothes, with the need to focus on children's and school students' clothes.
With the drop in temperatures, especially near the ground, the clear sky and the calm wind speed, it is not unlikely that frost will form tonight, at dawn and tomorrow morning in some areas, especially in the eastern plains and high mountainous areas in the north of the Kingdom, such as the Ajloun Heights.
In contrast to the previous nights, the chances of frost are possible tonight. Despite the temperature dropping to around zero degrees Celsius the previous nights, frost did not form due to the presence of atmospheric factors that hinder the formation process (such as high wind speeds and dry air devoid of moisture), but tonight the atmosphere is relatively humid and the winds are calm, which means that the weather conditions are suitable for the formation of frost.
God knows best.
