Jordan | Chance of fog formation at dawn and Monday morning in the southern Badia regions and the desert road

Arab Weather - The latest outputs of the numerical weather models processed by the Weather Operations Department at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate expectations of fog formation during the late night hours of Sunday/Monday night in the eastern plains and the southern desert, and until the late morning hours of Monday.

Horizontal visibility drops to less than 1000 meters.

The forecasts of fog formation include several parts of the desert road, amid expectations of a significant decrease in horizontal visibility to become less than 1000 meters, and visibility may sometimes be zero in some areas.

This is due to the rush of north-easterly air currents saturated with moisture, which raise the humidity level to more than 90%, coinciding with calm wind speeds and clear skies, which leads to the formation of dense fog. Drivers are warned of the risk of reduced, and possibly no, horizontal visibility.
