Arab Weather - The latest outputs received from numerical computer models, especially those showing the path and movement of air masses, indicate that the Levant, including the Kingdom, will be affected by a less hot and humid air mass coming from eastern Europe towards the Mediterranean Sea, starting from Saturday 8/24/2024, and its effects will continue on Sunday, accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and active winds with the appearance of low clouds, especially in the early morning hours over many regions.

Low clouds and humid weather in the morning, becoming normal summer weather the rest of the day.

In detail, weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, by a less hot air mass starting from Saturday, so temperatures will drop to be around or slightly below their average for this time of year, and a pleasant and humid atmosphere will prevail in the early morning hours, tending to be cold over the mountains, with the appearance of low clouds. During the rest of the day, normal summer weather will prevail in various regions, and the winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, active in the afternoon and evening hours, and causing dust storms in the eastern desert regions.

Sunday: The influence of the cooler air mass continues, and the weather tends to be cold over the mountain peaks in the morning.

In the same context, God willing, it is expected that the Kingdom will continue to be affected on Sunday 8/25/2024 by the same air mass, and the weather will be cold in the early morning hours over the high mountain peaks, especially in the south of the Kingdom, in addition to the eastern plains areas, with the appearance of low clouds, while the weather will remain normal summer weather for the rest of the day, with activity of the northwesterly winds in the afternoon.

Maximum temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be in the late 20s Celsius above the high mountainous elevations, including the elevations west of the capital Amman, while they will reach the early thirties in the rest of the cities and regions of the Kingdom, and will reach their peak in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and will drop in those areas below 40 Celsius after a long period.

Fresh and pleasant atmosphere at night, gradually becoming cold, with a noticeable increase in humidity levels.

The latest numerical model outputs indicate that very pleasant temperatures will prevail at night over various regions during the coming nights, and will gradually cool down during the late night and early morning hours, especially over the high mountainous elevations and the eastern plains regions, where minimum temperatures will range between 15-17 degrees Celsius over the peaks of the high mountainous elevations, especially the southern ones, which may require wearing a coat, while minimum temperatures in the rest of the regions will range between 18-21 degrees Celsius amid generally pleasant and refreshing weather.

It is expected that humid air currents coming from the Mediterranean Sea will rush in during those nights, so that humidity levels will rise to exceed 90% in some areas of the Kingdom, and the weather will be remarkably humid with the appearance of low clouds with the possibility of light fog forming over some mountain heights, especially the northern ones.

God knows best.
