Jordan: An air mass with colder than usual temperatures will affect the Kingdom in the coming days and cause noticeable changes in the weather

From the Arab Weather Center - Computer modeling maps at the Arab Weather Center show expectations of an air mass with temperatures colder than their usual levels rushing behind the Khamasini depression towards the Levant and Jordan, coming from the southeast of the European continent. The specialists at the Arabia Weather Center said that the air mass will cause tangible changes in the weather in the Kingdom, starting on Sunday, May 12, 2024, for several days, in comparison to what was the case in the past two days, God willing.

The effect of the gentle air mass on the Kingdom during the coming days can be summarized as follows:

• Dust levels in the atmosphere are decreasing, especially in the western regions of the Kingdom, while the weather continues to be dusty in the desert areas, causing a decrease in horizontal visibility in those areas.
• There is a significant drop in temperatures, and the weather turns pleasant during the daylight hours in most areas, while it is cold at night, especially above the high mountain heights, which means the need to return to wearing warmer clothes.
• Quantities of clouds will appear at different altitudes, and conditions may even be ripe for some scattered showers of rain on Monday in some areas, especially the northern ones.
