Arabia Weather - The latest updates and data received at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom has been affected by a depression, which has been classified as second-degree , according to the Arab Weather Center’s depression classification scale. It is a regular winter depression, starting Friday night into Saturday. It continues on Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by heavy rain at times, especially in the north of the Kingdom. Some of the characteristics of the depression are explained below:

 

  • Expected rainfall amounts range from 5 to 50 mm
  • Wind speed may reach 65 km/h with some gusts
  • The affected areas are primarily the northern regions, followed by the central regions, in addition to parts of the south and east of the Kingdom
  • The expected duration of effect is up to 45 hours
  • Maximum and minimum temperatures range from 5 to 14 degrees Celsius
  • There are no chances of snow
