Arab Weather - The Ministry of Education announced today, Monday, the new official school working hours, which will be in effect starting from Sunday, November 3, 2024, until the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The circular included all education directorates across the Kingdom.

Working hours for single-shift schools in Jordan

According to the circular, single-shift schools will operate according to the following schedule:

Morning lineup starts at 8:15 a.m.
First class starts at 8:30 a.m.
Class duration: 45 minutes.

School hours for two shifts in Jordan

As for the two-shift schools, the dates have been set as follows:

Morning period:

Morning lineup starts at 8:15 a.m.
The first class starts at 8:30 a.m.

Evening period:

Line starts at 12:50pm.
The first class starts at 1:00 PM.

The ministry explained in its circular that the duration of the class period in both the morning and evening periods will be 35 minutes. It also indicated that the five-minute break between classes will be cancelled, and that school doors will open to receive students starting at 7:45 in the morning.
