Jordan | Rainwater surrounds a number of houses in the town of Sofra in the northern Jordan Valley

Arab Weather - Most areas of the northern Jordan Valley witnessed heavy rains that led to the besieging of a number of homes in the town of Sofra, affiliated with the municipality of Sharhabil bin Hasna. Citizens expressed to the media their concern about the rising water levels and the absence of effective drainage systems for rainwater, which caused their homes to be besieged.

They explained that civil defense teams arrived at the site to provide assistance.
