Weather of Arabia - The Kingdom continues to be affected tonight by polar winds that work to maintain the cold weather, so that the weather is very cold in various regions, and gradually during the hours after midnight, a new depression classified as second degree is approaching the Kingdom and is accompanied by a cold and humid air mass that will gradually dissolve. The air mass is replaced by the polar air, so local showers of rain are expected, God willing, in the north and center of the Kingdom, in the form of snow showers over the highlands for some time.
Showers of snow are expected to fall at intervals over the highest southern mountain heights (the Sharah Mountains), and it is not excluded that special accumulations will occur over the tall peaks. Among the areas where some accumulations are expected to occur are the Al-Qadisiyah area in Tafila Governorate, the heights of the Shobak and Al-Hisha districts, Jabal Mubarak, the Al-Rajaf area and the heights of the Ill district, in addition to the peaks of Ras Al-Naqab.
Low clouds touching the Earth's surface are expected to cross from the mountain highlands, leading to the formation of fog, which is sometimes dense, which greatly hinders horizontal visibility for long periods, especially in the evening and night hours.
At night, the night temperatures rise compared to previous nights, and the weather is generally cold, and very cold over the high southern mountain highlands and the eastern desert regions. The weather is also mostly cloudy, with the opportunity for showers of rain to fall at intervals in the north and center of the Kingdom and some areas. In the southern regions, low clouds touching the Earth's surface cross the mountain highlands, leading to the formation of dense fog and a decrease or perhaps a lack of horizontal visibility.
