Arab Weather - Today, Friday, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing called on fellow citizens traveling on external roads to take the utmost care and caution, due to the low range of horizontal visibility due to dust formed as a result of strong winds on some external roads, especially the Dead Sea Road towards the south.
In a press release issued by the media unit, the ministry called on citizens not to hesitate to contact the emergency rooms to report any emergency or observation during the expected weather conditions.
She explained that she is based on the announcement of the start of work on the emergency plan for developments in the weather situation and information received from the Meteorological Department.
The Ministry affirmed its readiness to deal with the expected weather situation through its teams working in the field, which, in a precautionary manner, conduct periodic inspection tours during the weather conditions and before the received expectations to take the necessary and immediate action to ensure the sustainability of the services provided to citizens.
The ministry attributed the reasons for the extinguishing of the road lighting that belongs to the ministry in the Dead Sea area due to the exposure of high pressure lines in the area to a fire, which caused a power outage from the lighting poles of the roads in the area, noting that the ministry’s cadres, in coordination with the relevant authorities, are currently taking the necessary action to ensure the restoration of Lighting the roads as soon as possible.
