Arabia Weather - Omani Meteorology issued this morning through its account on the X platform - formerly Twitter - a set of instructions and advice for dealing with heavy rain, which are as follows:

Tips for dealing with heavy rain:

1. Do not leave children alone when it rains and prevent them from approaching water ponds and valley streams
2. Immediately stay away from low places and valley streams and do not try to swim in the valleys
3. Do not risk crossing the valleys to protect yourself and those with you in the vehicle
