And the authority called in a statement today, to ensure that the lighting and unused electrical appliances are used, and the use of lower-cost cooling means and energy-saving devices, and in the case of using the air conditioner, make sure that the thermostat is set to 24 degrees, and that the air filter (air filter) for the air conditioner is cleaned periodically.
The authority called on the electricity companies to take the necessary measures and prepare to deal with the repercussions of the heat wave and preparedness during the period of Eid Al-Adha.
She stressed the need to respond to citizen complaints and address electrical faults as quickly as possible.
The monitoring and emergency center in the authority continues to work around the clock to monitor the electrical system, follow-up with the call centers and public service of the electricity companies and ensure the speedy handling of any faults or complaints that may occur.
