Arab Weather - The National Center of Meteorology reported that the month of November is among the second transitional period between summer and winter, explaining that this month is characterized by a moderate temperature during the day and a decrease in temperature during the night.

The center stated that the average maximum and minimum temperatures during this month decreased by 4 to 6 degrees than it was during the month of October, as a result of the continuation of the apparent movement of the sun towards the south away from the region.

The center said: "During this month, the country is affected by the gradual extension of the Siberian air rise towards the region, especially during the second half of it, which leads to a continuing decrease in temperatures, as temperatures tend to get cold sometimes, especially at night on mountainous areas and some inland areas."

He added: "The country is also affected by an extension of the surface air depressions extending from the Red Sea and from the east, and if they are accompanied by air depressions in the upper air layers from the east or from the west, the amounts of clouds increase and cumulus rain clouds form over some areas, especially the eastern regions of the country."

The center pointed out that the prevailing winds in the country during the month of November are southeasterly in the morning, and turn during the day to northwest - northwest, and wind speed may be active on some days of this month, especially during storms.

He noted that the relative humidity increases, especially in the early morning, as a result of the passage of moderate air masses over the Gulf waters towards the country, which creates the opportunity for the formation of light and dense fog, especially on the coastal areas.

The center pointed out that the average temperature during this month ranges between 24 and 25 degrees Celsius, where the average maximum temperature is between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius, and the average minimum temperature is between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius, explaining that the highest temperature recorded in The state during this month reached 38.8 degrees Celsius in the island border guards in 2009, while the lowest temperature was on Jebel Jais in 2009, which reached 4.1 degrees Celsius.

The center stated that the average wind speed during the month of November was 10.7 km / h, while the highest wind speed was 97 (km / h) in Ruwais in 2013, and the average relative humidity during this month was 57%, where the average maximum relative humidity was between 76% to 85%, and the average minimum relative humidity is between 29% to 39%.

The center reported that the highest year in which fog occurred during the month of November over the past years was in 2016, where the number of fog occurrences was 13 days of fog and 6 days of light fog, noting that the highest amount of rain recorded during this month amounted to 211.4 mm on an island Dalma in the year 2013.
