Arabian Gulf | Possible hail storms in several areas during the period of rainy conditions

Arabia Weather - The latest updates and data received by us in the weather forecast section at the “Arab Weather” Center indicate that it is expected that a large-scale rain condition will occur as a result of a depression in the high air layers rushing towards the region, in conjunction with the flow of warm and humid air currents from the south. It affects large areas of the Arabian Gulf countries, with expectations that this situation will be accompanied by hailstorms in several regions, and in details:

Based on the computer models used by the Arab Weather Center, hail is expected to fall in some areas, according to the map shown, which shows the probability of hailstones falling in percentages and the places expected to be covered by these precipitations. We note that the highest chances of hailstones falling are in the following areas:

1-The highlands of southwestern Saudi Arabia, including the highlands of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha.

2-The Hajar Mountain Range in the Sultanate of Oman.

3-Several regions of the south of the Iraqi Republic.

4- Limited areas of Kuwait.
