The Civil Defense has received 2,600 reports of people stuck in their vehicles since Wednesday

Arab Weather - The Civil Defense Department has received 9,600 communications since Wednesday, and responded to all communications, according to the director of the administration, Hatem Yaqoub.

Yaqoub told the "Voice of the Kingdom" program, Thursday evening, that the Civil Defense dealt with about 200 births, noting that paramedics dealt with cases of births inside homes.

He pointed to a fire in Irbid, which resulted in the death of a child and the charring of his body, and the rescue of two children, noting that the response did not exceed 6 minutes.

The administration received reports of trees falling on electricity poles, and coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture, according to Yaqoui, who spoke about the presence of a team using wood saws to cut trees and keep them off the roads, in coordination with Agriculture and the Electricity Company.

And he indicated that the Civil Defense has 195 "locomotive and trailer" vehicles, which are mainly used to rescue the trapped, especially in snow conditions or in areas prone to torrential rain.

The Civil Defense has dealt with 1,200 cases of dialysis since Wednesday, according to Yaqoub, who confirmed the readiness of ambulances to transport patients and the presence of a list of all kidney patients who return to their homes with equipped mechanisms.

The Director of the Civil Defense Department pointed out that the department had received, since Wednesday, about 2,600 reports of people stuck in their vehicles and trapped in snow.

Capital Gendarmerie Commander Akef Al-Darabah said that the Public Security Directorate, with its three arms, dealt with the weather situation

Al-Darbisa added that the Public Security Directorate is working according to a strategy that is able to adapt to all expected and unexpected circumstances

He stressed that the directorate's work is according to prior plans, explaining that the plans came into effect with operational orders, and the security deployment was re-implemented in proportion to the crisis.
