Arab Weather - Meteorologist Dr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Zaaq said that our ancestors were eagerly awaiting the Suhail season, as they considered it an important economic, climatic, and social turning point.
Al-Zaqaq explained that the economic importance of the Suhail season lies in the intensive activity of farmers, traders, and consumers in harvesting, selling, and storing dates, which drives the wheel of the social economy.
In a video on his X account, he pointed out that the climatic significance of Suhail lies in the gradual decrease in temperatures as the days go by, while socially, the Suhail season is a time for community gatherings. Bedouins prepare for the “Wasm” migration season, urban dwellers return to their homes after working on the farms, and sailors prepare for the diving season.
He added that the Suhail season, which lasts for 52 days, is an important and special season for Arabs.
Good news!
Today is the last ember of summer and tomorrow is Tuesday:
The first season of Suhail, which is the dividing line between the hot summer and the mild autumn.
Its duration is 52 days, during which the temperature and humidity levels begin to gradually improve as the days pass.
After two weeks we notice noticeable changes.
Suhail is the most famous Arab season.
