Arab Weather - The weather monitoring stations affiliated with the Arab Weather Center, distributed in various regions of the Kingdom, record very low temperatures in all regions of the Kingdom as a result of the deepening of very cold winds in various layers of the atmosphere, especially the low layers close to the Earth's surface.
The effect of the deepening of the very cold winds is directly reflected in the temperatures recorded by the weather monitoring stations, as temperatures in most areas of the capital Amman do not exceed 3 degrees Celsius now and reach around zero degrees Celsius in the western highlands, while the northern regions, specifically Ajloun Governorate, record only zero degrees Celsius.
As for the southern regions, specifically the Sharah Mountains, minimum temperatures reach below zero degrees Celsius at night. To view the temperatures recorded in the rest of the regions, click here.
Temperatures will drop sharply, noticeably and rapidly, becoming below zero degrees Celsius in large areas of the Kingdom by midnight on Saturday/Sunday and dawn on Sunday. Some roads will still be wet, leading to the formation of frost in several areas, and the formation of frost includes wet roads in cities, which poses a real danger when driving on the roads.
In light of the expected weather conditions, the Arab Weather Center advises the need to be aware of the risk of frost and ice formation, which poses a danger to driving on the roads and to crops and livestock. Therefore, it is recommended to prepare early for this in addition to taking into account the safe use of heating methods and heavy clothing, especially for the elderly and children.
And God knows best.
