Weather of Arabia - Zuhair Fatani, a Saudi retiree, shares his unique story about spending most of his time with bees, as he strives to enter the Guinness Book of Records with the largest bee cloak, and during an interview with Al Arabiya channel, he stated:
“I am the first Arab beekeeper to collect bees in this way to try to break a Guinness World Record by wearing the heaviest bee cloak.”
He adds:
“I am also a member of the Board of Directors of the Mecca Beekeepers Association, and I worked at Aramco for 35 years before retiring 3 years ago. I am passionate about the hobby of beekeeping, and I am still learning and developing my skills in this field and bee products.”
He points out that he has a model apiary in Jeddah, where he receives visitors of all ages and social groups, who learn how to use honey products for treatment and nutritional purposes.
