The company's launch of the "Aroya Cruise" cruise line comes in view of the increasing demand from citizens and residents to participate in tourist cruises in the past three "Saudi Cruise" seasons on board international ships, which were designed to reflect the values of inspiration, respect, culture and hospitality that characterize the Kingdom, to provide A new concept and a unique experience for spending holidays and vacations and exploring new areas, through heritage, cultural and natural tours and various adventures.

The CEO of “Saudi Cruise”, Lars Claassen, stated that the launch of the “Orea” line represents an important historic step in the pursuit of “Saudi Cruise” to work on achieving its strategy aimed at developing the cruise tourism sector in the Kingdom, and receiving 1.3 million tourists to explore the Kingdom across the sea. By 2025, in line with the objectives of the "Kingdom's Vision 2030" to develop the Saudi tourism system.

He pointed out that the “Aroya Cruise” cruise line will be part of the “Saudi Cruise” portfolio of projects, and it has taken into account during its design and planning of its facilities and routes what local and regional tourists are looking for while choosing their vacation experiences, in a way that suits the needs of different groups.

It is noteworthy that the launch of “Aroya Cruise” will also contribute to creating job opportunities and enabling small and medium enterprises to enter various fields related to tourist cruises, exploratory tours, services, hospitality facilities, etc., which is part of the “Saudi Cruise” strategy, in terms of providing 50,000 direct jobs. And indirectly within the integrated tourism cruise system by 2035.
