Saudi Arabia Health measures announced during this year's Hajj season to deal with Corona

Arab Weather - Saudi Arabia announced healthy protocols to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus during the 2020 Hajj season and banned gatherings and meetings between pilgrims, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

Saudi Arabia decided last June that the pilgrims be from inside Saudi Arabia and that the number be limited to about a thousand people to prevent the spread of the Corona virus after a ban on Muslims from outside the Kingdom performing the pilgrimage this year for the first time in contemporary time.

Other measures during the Hajj 2020 to prevent the spread of Corona

A statement of the National Center for Disease Prevention and Control, "Prevention", stated that:

• It is prohibited to touch the Kaaba during the Hajj this year
• Imposing a social distance of not less than one and a half meters between each person and the other during the performance of the rituals, including congregational prayer and the circumambulation area around the Kaaba.
• Mena, Muzdalifah, and Arafat will enter only those with permits to perform Hajj from Sunday, July 19 until August 2, 2020.
• Pilgrims and organizers will have to put up masks.
