Saudi Arabia now | Weather fluctuations will continue in many areas and more will occur in the coming hours

Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - Successive thunderstorms monitored by satellite images in eastern Hail, Al-Jawf, and parts of the northern border region and northern Qassim during the past hours, accompanied by rainfall, which was heavy at times and accompanied by hail showers.

These areas have been affected for hours by unstable weather conditions resulting from the eruption of a cold upper basin in the north of the Arabian Peninsula, coinciding with an active surface response to the Red Sea depression and an influx of moisture with tropical characteristics for the region, which leads to the formation of cumulonimbus thunderclouds in the skies of these regions.

During the coming hours, cumulonimbus thunderstorm activity is expected to be concentrated in the northern border region, while some local rain may fall in parts north of the Riyadh region, some interior parts of the Eastern Province, Hafr Al-Batin, and the border areas with Kuwait.

We are also monitoring the possibility of cumulonimbus clouds forming on the western highlands of the Kingdom and its coastal parts, including both Mecca and the city of Jeddah on Wednesday morning, and God knows best.
