Baboons, as creatures that interact greatly with their surrounding environment and with humans as well. It has been observed that feeding the monkeys periodically leads to changing their behavior, including increased dependence on food provided by humans, and getting them used to receiving it without the need to search for food in the wild and this permanent interaction. It can increase tension between humans and animals, especially when it comes to wild animals such as baboons, which exhibit aggressive behavior in some cases.
With feeding stopped, the baboons are exposed to less human interference and are encouraged to return to their natural foraging patterns in their surrounding environment. This change in behavior can reduce their expectations of finding food near residential areas, which generally reduces hostile encounters with humans.
Although these measures require the cooperation of the local community and government agencies, they represent an important step towards maintaining public safety and enhancing the balance between wildlife and humans in the region.
