ArabiaWeather - Tomorrow, Thursday, the 2024 Asian Snooker Championship competitions will begin at the Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation training center in the Al-Yarmouk neighborhood in the city of Riyadh, which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host during the period from June 27 to July 5, 2024.
More than 200 male and female players representing 16 Asian countries will participate in this tournament, including: Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, Hong Kong, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Singapore, Iran, Lebanon, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the Emirates. They will compete in five different events, including team snooker 6ball, men's and women's snooker 6ball, men's under-21 snooker 6ball, and men's English billiards.
The tournament will be opened with a ceremony held at five in the evening, in the presence of senior officials, including the President of the International Snooker Federation, Mubarak Al-Khayareen, the President of the Asian Billiards and Snooker Federation, Mohammed Al-Naimi, and the President of the Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation, Dr. Nasser Al-Shammari, in addition to the presidents and members of the national federations of the participating countries. The ceremony includes a number of distinctive segments that reflect the diversity of events and cultures brought together by this important sporting tournament.
