Arab Weather - The latest weather map analyses in "Arab Weather" indicate that the northern parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be affected by a cold wave starting from next Monday evening, with temperatures dropping to a record low and approaching zero degrees Celsius, especially on Monday/Tuesday night and Tuesday/Wednesday night.

The cold wave is caused by the extension of the Siberian high towards the Kingdom

The specialists at the Arab Weather Center said that the outputs of the weather maps indicate the extension of the Siberian high pressure system towards the Kingdom, which will result in the formation of a cold wave in the northern parts starting from the evening of next Monday, as temperatures are expected to drop significantly to approach zero degrees Celsius in the northern regions, including Al-Jawf, Tabuk, the Northern Borders, and the Hail region on Monday night, dawn, and morning of Tuesday, and dawn of Wednesday.

Temperature drops in the capital, Riyadh

The same weather data indicates that the drop in temperatures will affect parts of the central regions, including the capital, Riyadh, where minimum temperatures are expected to drop to around 10 degrees Celsius on Wednesday evening and night, with cold weather prevailing at night in general.
