Arab Weather - The latest weather maps in "Arab Weather" indicate expectations of the Siberian high pressure system extending towards the Kingdom early next week, accompanied by a cold wave concentrated largely in the northern regions and temperatures expected to drop below zero degrees Celsius in some areas.
In detail, and at the beginning of the weekend, it is expected that there will be a slight decrease in temperatures, especially in the northern regions, and the weather will be moderate in most regions, and relatively hot in the western parts of the Kingdom.
There is still a chance for some cumulus clouds to appear over limited parts of the southwest and west of the Kingdom, accompanied by local showers of rain.
Weather forecasters at Arab Weather said that forecasts indicate that the Kingdom will be affected early this week by an extension of the Siberian high pressure system, so temperatures are expected to drop further in all regions, especially the northern, central and eastern regions. Temperatures are expected to drop below zero degrees Celsius in Al-Jouf, the northern border and parts of Hail at dawn on Sunday, while they will approach 5 degrees Celsius in the central regions, including the capital Riyadh. Frost is likely to form, especially in the northern regions.
God willing, the Kingdom is expected to continue to be affected on Monday by the extension of the Siberian high pressure system. The weather is expected to be relatively cold during the day in the northern regions and pleasant in the rest of the regions, while temperatures are expected to drop during Sunday night and Monday morning to below zero degrees Celsius in the northern regions and approach zero degrees Celsius in the capital, Riyadh, and the central regions amidst remarkably cold weather.
