Weather of Arabia - Today, Tuesday, the National Center of Meteorology raised the alert level to red in the regions: Al-Sharqiyah, Riyadh, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, expecting heavy rains accompanied by thunderbolts.
The center explained that the warning period in the Eastern Province, which includes the governorates of Al-Khafji, Al-Nairiya, and Qaryat Al-Olayya, continues until one in the morning tomorrow, Wednesday, while it ends in Riyadh in the governorates of Al-Dawadmi, Al-Rain, Al-Quwayiyah, and Afif, and in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the governorates of Taraba and Raniyah at eleven in the evening today.
The Meteorology Department expected that this period would witness heavy rains, including the accompanying effects of high-speed winds, lack of visibility, hail, torrential rains, and thunderbolts.
