Arab Weather - The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has chosen Al Wahbah Crater to be among the top 100 geological heritage sites in the world for the year 2024. This selection came after it was nominated by the International Union of Geological Sciences, and was recorded during the participation of the Saudi Geological Survey in the activities of the 37th International Geological Congress 2024, which was held in the city of Busan, South Korea.

The Saudi Geological Survey announced the selection and nomination of Al Wahbah Crater, located in Harrat Kishb, about 270 km northeast of Jeddah, among the top 100 geological heritage sites in the world for the year 2024.
