Saudi Arabia | Between Al-Ahsa and Al-Souda... a radical difference in weather and huge thermal differences

Weather of Arabia - On days like these every year, numerical models sense the large thermal differences between the cities and villages of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with its vast area, which clearly appear between its eastern sector on one side, and its summer resorts in the southwest of the Kingdom on the other side.

Computer modeling, in its latest updates issued this morning, Monday, 7/15/2024, indicates that the thermal differences will be tangible and large between Al-Ahsa in the east and the Al-Soudah Heights in the Asir Mountains, southwest of the Kingdom, on Tuesday.

The maximum temperature on Tuesday is expected to reach about 47 degrees Celsius in Al-Ahsa, while it will be around 24 degrees Celsius in Al-Souda, meaning a temperature difference of 23 degrees Celsius.

The weather difference between the two regions will not be limited to temperatures only. While stable weather prevails in Al-Ahsa, Al-Souda Heights will witness a proliferation of cumulonimbus thunderstorm clouds in the afternoon hours, with rain falling.
