Arab Weather - High temperatures recorded in the Kingdom today, Friday 7/12/2024, were highest in the Dammam Governorate, east of the Kingdom, with a temperature of 51 degrees Celsius.

According to the report issued by Saudi Meteorology, several regions in the Kingdom recorded high temperatures that reached 50 degrees Celsius, and they are distributed as follows:

• Dammam 51°
• Yanbu 49°
• Qaysumah 48°
• Riyadh / Medina / Wadi Al-Dawasir 47°
• Mecca/Al-Qayyim/Rafha/Sharurah 46°

Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that the heat wave will continue to affect the Kingdom’s atmosphere during the coming days, and the weather situation in the Kingdom until the beginning of the week can be summarized with the following points:

• Temperatures touching 50 in Hafar Al-Batin and the interior parts of the Eastern Province and Al-Ahsa.
• Daily cumulonimbus clouds accompanied by thundershowers of rain in limited areas of the Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha highlands in the afternoon. Active winds and dust continue over the governorates of Al-Laith, Al-Qunfudhah, Jazan, and some internal parts of them, up to Najran.
• Active northwesterly winds with strong gusts are blowing throughout the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, including the city of Jeddah, in addition to the coasts of the Medina and Tabuk regions, raising dust and dirt.
• Al-Bawarih winds, causing dust and dust, are active in limited parts of northeastern Saudi Arabia and the border areas with Kuwait.
