Saudi Arabia Suspension of studies in all Saudi schools and educational institutions precautionary due to Corona

The Ministry of Education announced that, in accordance with the preventive and precautionary measures recommended by the competent health authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of its determined efforts to control the new "Corona" virus (COVID19), and to prevent its entry and spread, and based on the concern to protect the health of male and female students and the educational and administrative staff in education Public and university, and ensuring their safety, it was decided to suspend the study temporarily in all regions and governorates of Saudi Arabia, starting from Monday 7/14/1441 AH until further notice.

The decision includes government and private public and private education schools and institutions, and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training.

The Minister of Education directed the activation of virtual schools and distance education during the suspension period, ensuring that the educational process continues in an effective and quality manner.

1 - Supervision offices start their work during the comment period to follow the educational process, coordinate the procedures for distance education, and respond to parents ’inquiries.

2 - Ensure the functioning of the virtual school during the suspension period of study via the distance learning methods provided by the Ministry of Education, through the virtual school platform (Vschool.sa), and the use of digital enrichment materials via the site, and the application located in the App Store for Apple and Android under the title ( Unified Education System).

3 - Providing lessons for all levels of study asynchronously, through the "Ain" channel that broadcasts on the Arabsat frequency 12437 vertical through 14 TV channels, and the YouTube link: www.youtube.com/dorosien

4- The universities, the General Technical and Technical Training Corporation and the National Center for E-Learning complete the requirements of distance education for all male and female students.

The Ministry of Education stated that the decision to suspend the study comes as a continuation of the wise leadership’s interest in its children, its concern for their safety, and the provision of appropriate alternatives for continuing distance education.

She stated that the suspension of the study is a precautionary measure, not a cause for concern, and requires everyone to adhere to the causes of prevention, and to follow health instructions and guidelines to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. Noting that the return to the study is subject to the evaluation of the Committee on Coronavirus.
