Saudi Arabia: Cumulative rain formations daily in the western sector this week

Weather of Arabia - The results of analyzes and computer simulation data for weather forecasts indicate that the western sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is on a date with weather fluctuations and daily formations of cumulonimbus over large parts of its heights, accompanied by rains of varying intensity accompanied by lightning and heavy hail falling at times .

This is due to the approach of depressions in the high and middle layers of the atmosphere from the south of the Arabian Peninsula, in conjunction with the support of moisture from the tropics due to the advancement of the seasonal belt of convergence of winds into the atmosphere of the Arabian Peninsula (ITCZ), and an effective surface response to the depressions.

Based on the above, it is expected, God willing, that cumulus clouds will cover daily during this week the western sector of the Kingdom.

• Sunday, August 13, 2023: Cumulonimbus clouds multiply in the afternoon hours, sporadicly renewing the heights of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, to the east of Makkah, west of Madinah, and Tabuk, and it is accompanied by sporadic rain that may be accompanied by the occurrence of thunder at times.

• Monday, August 14: The activity of cumulus rain clouds intensifies on the mountainous heights of the western sector of the Kingdom, including Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and eastern Makkah Al-Mukarramah. It also affects some of the heights of Medina and Tabuk.

• Tuesday and Wednesday, August 15 and 16: The area of thunderstorm activity over the Kingdom temporarily decreases and is concentrated in the southern region.

• The activity intensifies and gradually expands with the increase in the chances of torrential rain, starting from Thursday, August 17, in large parts of the western sector.
