Arab Weather - Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, announced on Sunday that "Riyadh Season 2024" has achieved a new record, receiving two million visitors during the first week of its launch. This number reflects the great passion that the public has for this season, which everyone awaits annually.

Riyadh Season 2024 includes five main areas: Boulevard World, Kingdom Arena, Boulevard City, The Venue, and Al Suwaidi Park.

Boulevard World Expansion

This year, Boulevard World is undergoing a 30% expansion to accommodate the increasing number of visitors, with a range of new events and areas being added, adding distinctive dimensions to the visitor experience.

The number of regions has also been increased to 5 new regions, including: “Saudi Arabia”, “Turkey”, “Iran”, “Africa”, and “Courchevel”, bringing the total number to 22 regions representing different countries around the world. The season also includes 300 restaurants and cafes, and more than 890 shops.

Historic fight at Kingdom Arena

At the "Kingdom Arena", a historic boxing match was held, where Artur Beterbiev was crowned the undisputed champion in the "light heavyweight" weight, after defeating Dmitry Bivol by a majority decision. This match embodied the fierce rivalry between the boxers and became a landmark in the world of boxing.

Six Kings Slam at The Venue

As for “The Venue”, its first event of the season was launched with the “Six Kings Slam” tournament, which is the most expensive tennis tournament in the world. Six of the most prominent international tennis stars are participating in it, including Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune.
