From the Arab Weather Center - The latest weather maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the rest of the Arabian Peninsula, including the Kingdom, is expected to continue to be affected by the high air pressure in the high layers of the atmosphere, which in turn causes temperatures warmer than their usual levels in most regions of the Kingdom during the coming days.
This upper elevation causes what is known as the heat dome phenomenon, by the air descending below it, so the heat resulting from diurnal heating cannot rise to the top, and it prevents heat from refluxing into the atmosphere, so it remains trapped in the lower layers within the framework of this thermal dome.
Computer modeling maps indicate that the weather is expected to remain hot to very hot in most regions, with temperatures in the forties, while temperatures approach 50 degrees Celsius in parts of the East, especially the south of the region, and the weather will be scorching in those areas.
The winds will be north to northwesterly, active at special intervals in the western sector and causing some dust in parts of open areas and highways.
The chances of rain will weaken on Wednesday in the southwestern regions, after witnessing an increase in summer formations during the past days.
