Weather of Arabia - With a stunning view on the outskirts of Aqabat Al-Baha and Tihama, the Cloud Walk in the Al-Baha region has emerged as one of the most wonderful tourist destinations that combines the beauty of nature and family entertainment facilities. Social media activists shared photos and videos of the walkway, with its exceptional location in the heart of the mountains, next to forests, long walking paths, and stunning landscapes that captivate hearts in the famous Raghadan Forest.

Al-Baha weather in the coming days

Thursday to Sunday:

Seasonal rains intensify in several parts of the southwestern sector of the Kingdom, and cumulus clouds multiply in the afternoon and evening hours on many of the southwestern highlands, represented by the highlands of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and east of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, including Taif, and these clouds are accompanied by rainfall. The intensity varies, accompanied by thunder and falling sedges, leading to flowing valleys and reefs.

Inauguration of the Cloud Walk

The walkway witnessed a large turnout from Al-Baha visitors after the Secretary of Al-Baha Region, Dr. Ali Al-Sawat, inaugurated the 650-meter-long Cloud Walk project in the Raghadan Forest. The project aims to promote walking, and is part of a series of projects aimed at creating an ideal urban environment, in order to achieve the ambitions of the Quality of Life Program and the plan to address visual distortion and improve the urban landscape through humanizing cities.

The Under Secretary for Humanization and Environmental Architecture, Engineer Abdul-Ilah Al-Qarni, explained that the walkway extends from the beginning of the Raghadan Forest to its middle, and includes a 4-meter-wide pedestrian path, planting 250 trees, in addition to 20 chairs and 65 lighting poles. The walkway was designed to be comfortable for everyone, including people with disabilities, by having slopes that facilitate movement.

Al-Qarni pointed out that the walkway will contribute to alleviating congestion inside the forest and providing outdoor parking that will facilitate access to the events area in the Raghadan Forest.

Al Bahah Summer Events

This year's Al-Baha Summer activities, held in parks and tourist sites in the city of Al-Baha and the region's governorates, attract visitors and the people of the region due to their diversity and their fulfillment of the desires of various segments of society. Raghadan and Al-Hussam Parks in Al-Baha witness many activities, such as free sliding, a suspension bridge, bicycles, and children’s games, in addition to shopping and entertainment festivals, skating rinks, padel games, and productive family markets.

Events in other governorates of the region include Prince Mishari Park and the Waterfall Park in Beni Hassan, Al-Khalab Park and the Butterfly and Tower Gardens in Al-Mandag, Al-Tharwa National Park in Al-Qura, the Baljurashi Front Festival in Baljurashi, and Taiba Al-Isma Park in Al-Aqiq. These activities include children's theater, various cultural and heritage programs, and activities for productive families.

The organizing committee for Al Bahah Summer, “A Summer in Al Bahah, Seen by Arrouk,” has prepared more than 500 diverse events to be held in various governorates of the region. During the summer season, Al-Baha region is blessed with rain, fog, and cold weather, which makes vacationers and residents spend enjoyable times in Fog Court.

The city of Al Baha is characterized by its pleasant climate and moderate temperatures throughout the year, making it a favorite destination for eco-tourism due to the diversity of flora and fauna in the region.
