Arab weather - God willing, and as a result of the distribution of weather systems in the region, it is expected that moderate to active southeast winds will blow on Iraq on Wednesday over large and different areas of Iraq, intensifying with the noon and afternoon hours, and the active winds are accompanied by strong gifts that exceed the 60 km / hour barrier sometimes on different regions of the country.

Possible dust waves over several regions of Iraq

And given the lack of rain in large areas of Iraq during the coming period, which means the drying of the soil and its disintegration, coinciding with the blowing of active winds, it is not excluded that dust waves will form in several areas of Iraq, which may include the capital, Baghdad, especially with the night hours of Wednesday / Thursday.

In light of the expected weather conditions, the Arab Weather website advises the need to pay attention to the risk of dust waves forming or the high rates and concentrations of dust in the atmosphere, which leads to a low range of horizontal vision, and the risk of complications, God forbid, for patients with the respiratory system and eyes.
