Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest readings from computer simulations indicate that Iraq will be affected by a warm, dry wave in the coming days, which will cause a further rise in temperatures, reaching around 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, Baghdad, and perhaps higher, especially on Saturday, God willing.
Temperatures will continue to rise starting Friday, and will increase further on Saturday, God willing, to near average for this time of year. The weather will be warm across most regions, tending to be hot during the afternoon and evening hours, especially in the central and southern regions.
The expected temperatures coincide with a noticeable decrease in wind speed, which will be moderate most of the time, with bright sunshine. The temperatures felt by the human body will be much warmer than those recorded by monitoring stations, meaning the heat will be felt more intensely, especially during the afternoon hours.
Maximum temperatures over the coming days will range between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius across various regions, including the north and center of the country. In the capital, Baghdad, they will range between 30 and 31 degrees Celsius, while temperatures will be lower in the west of the country, specifically western Anbar and the Rutba region, with maximums in these areas ranging between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius.
Nighttime temperatures will also rise compared to previous nights, with the weather expected to be pleasant in the western regions, cool in the late afternoon, and pleasant to relatively cold in the northern highlands, but moderate in the rest of the region, with temperatures in the twenties in the capital, Baghdad, especially early in the evening.
And God knows best.
